Luca's library robot

Luca built a robot to put returned library books on their shelves. On Monday it placed cookbooks with the comics. On Tuesday it left a pile of books in the hallway. On Wednesday it put three books on the wrong shelves.

What can Luca conclude about his robot?

  1. It enjoys reading cookbooks.
  2. It needs a bigger library.
  3. It works best in the hallway.
  4. It cannot yet sort books reliably.
Answer

D. It cannot yet sort books reliably.. The robot makes several different sorting mistakes, so Luca cannot rely on it to put books in the right places.
